About The Insurance Conference 2026 | Cape Town

The Insurance Conference 2026 is designed to bring the industry together in a way that feels both meaningful and memorable — not just another conference, but a full experience in the Cape Winelands.

Day 1 | Thursday, 20 August 2026
The main conference takes place from 09:00 to 17:00, bringing together leaders, innovators, and decision-makers to unpack the future of insurance, from AI and technology to leadership, risk, and resilience.

From 17:00 to 19:00, we move into a more relaxed setting with networking drinks and a wine tasting, giving everyone the chance to connect properly.
The evening continues with a Gala Dinner from 19:00 to 23:00 at Plaisir Wine Estate.

Day 2 | Friday, 21 August 2026

Day two is all about getting out, connecting, and enjoying the setting.
We’ll start the morning with a Fun Run/Walk at Plaisir Wine Estate, with both 5km and 12km options.

There will also be a range of side events available, including padel and wine experiences.

Side events are open to anyone who purchases a ticket — you don’t need to be a conference delegate to attend. Conference tickets do not include side events, and side event tickets do not include the conference.

Transport

Shuttle services will run from Cape Town City Centre to the venue and back on Thursday, 20 August for conference delegates.
